On November 1, Monument Chemical employees from the Brandenburg, KY site participated in the Manufacturing Expo at the Meade County College and Career Center, an event designed to introduce students to the fascinating world of manufacturing through interactive, hands-on experiences.

One year ago, Monument’s U.S. team was celebrating a Bronze EcoVadis status, achieved with no prior experience with the process. But in addition to our “high fives” and celebrations, we also set our sights on becoming even better — in true Monument fashion.

That vision quickly became action, and this year, it also became a reality. Monument has earned a Silver Medal from EcoVadis for our U.S. sites (joining our Belgium team, who earned silver status in 2018).

The Heritage Group (THG) and Monument Chemical are thrilled to host the annual Chemical Innovation Exchange Conference (CIEX) at the THG Center October 24 and 25, 2024. CIEX is designed for C-level R&D, Innovation, and Sustainability experts from the consumer, industrial, and specialty chemical sectors. Now in its 10th edition, CIEX is focused on creating value by bringing together the right people, fostering synergies, and actively facilitating connections among potential partners. If you don’t know anything about the Yellow Jacket Space Program (YJSP), you likely will soon. The 200+ student rocketry team at Georgia Tech is working diligently to be the very first collegiate team to launch a liquid-fueled rocket to the edge of space — 100 km above the earth.

Recently, at Monument Kallo’s plant in the Port of Antwerp, Belgium, the team gathered to celebrate a significant milestone – five years without a lost time injury (LTI). The event was celebrated with well over 100 employees and contractors, and with Monument’s CEO Paul Raymond. Pizza trucks were on site, handing out slices to each and every member of the team – all of whom were a vital part of this achievement.
