June 17th, 2024

Dear Monument Family,

I am eager to share with you the exciting news that Renee Havrilla is joining Monument Chemical as VP and Business Leader for our Solvents Business in Houston, effective July 1. Renee will lead the Solvents BMT and will report directly to me.

Renee is an accomplished global leader with a proven track record in driving strong business performance and exponential revenue growth. Her expertise is a mix of deep chemical industry knowledge, operational experience, strategic planning, M&A, supply chain, digital optimization, and change leadership. She is well recognized as a strong developer of people in her organization and a supporter of diversity and inclusion in the workplace – with significant experience launching women’s professional networking forums. She builds collaborative teams and is able to work effectively in a highly matrixed organization structure. Renee is bright, genuine, and open, and she fosters a culture of collaboration through the intentional development of strong, trusting relationships with her colleagues.

Renee brings a wealth of experience to Monument and joins us from Westlake Corporation in Houston, a leading global supplier of materials and innovative products for packaging, healthcare, automotive, consumer goods, and building and construction products. Renee most recently served as Vice President of the Compounds Division and CEO of The Ivy Group, where she carried P&L responsibility for the $1B PVC downstream business with 850 employees, 12 global manufacturing locations and an innovation center.

Prior to Westlake, Renee spent several years with Covestro, formerly Bayer Material Science, where she was General Manager of Baysystems Spray Foam Business and Director of the Appliance and Rigid Foam business. Active in the industry and community, Renee is a member of the United Way Women’s Initiative Committee, McKinsey and Company Advancing Executives in Energy, and previously a Board member at Uni-Bell PVC Pipe, the Plastics Pipe and Fittings Association, Spray Polyurethane Foam Association, and Center of Polyurethane Industry Spray Foam Coalition.

Renee is originally from Pennsylvania, where she received her BS in Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh. She now resides in The Woodlands, outside of Houston, TX, with her husband and son, and she enjoys golf and traveling.

We are excited about the contributions Renee’s leadership will bring to the Solvents business and to Monument – and all the opportunities she will make possible to further accelerate our success! Please join me in welcoming Renee to the team and in supporting her onboarding in the coming weeks.
