I am happy to share the news that today, Monument finalized an agreement to acquire Nova Molecular Technologies' Bayport, Texas, plant. This is an exciting day for our company, and I hope you will join me in giving an enthusiastic welcome to our new colleagues in Bayport.

Like Monument, Nova is a family-owned company, and its products, technology, and market spaces are similar to ours. The unique custom manufacturing capabilities of the Bayport facility, as well as the expertise of the Bayport team, are a great strategic fit for our company. By adding a third site in the Houston area – the most important hub of the chemical industry – Monument is advancing its leadership in custom chemical manufacturing for North America.

The acquisition will also allow Monument to expand our solvents and intermediates product portfolio, specifically into high-purity applications. For now, you can go to the Nova Molecular Technologies website to learn more about their product line and plant capabilities.

Please join me in welcoming our new colleagues at what we will now call Monument Chemical Bayport – especially if you are in the Houston area. I know they share our commitment to innovation and to continuously improving everything we do in order to better serve customers.
