Leadership Announcements: Rick Caines, Adam Pingel, and Sarves Peri
November 8th, 2019
Monument Team,
I am pleased to announce some exciting changes to the Monument Global Leadership Team:
- Adam Pingel, currently Business Manufacturing Leader for North America, has accepted the role of Vice President of Manufacturing. Adam will join the Monument Global Leadership Team and will be responsible for all global manufacturing activities, including HSE, overall operations, achieving plant production, costs saving goals, and capital planning.
- Sarves Peri, currently Vice President of Supply Chain, will have expanded responsibilities as Vice President of Supply Chain and Business Excellence. Sarves will lead our continuous improvement efforts in our business processes. He will also enhance our partnership with The Heritage Group to leverage Business Excellence activities and learnings.
- Rick Caines, currently Vice President of Manufacturing, will be assuming a new role as Executive Consultant, Operations. Rick will retain responsibilities as Sponsor of the Brandenburg Business, and will continue to lead the implementation of the Corporate Compliance Process for Monument Chemical. In addition, Rick will act as the Project Manager for the Houston Polysulfide Project, as well as the Houston expansion project.
He will also provide support to The Heritage Group HSE efforts, as well as continue to serve on the Heritage Enterprise Risk Management Team.
As many of you know, Rick has been a driving force at Monument since the company’s earliest roots, and we are thrilled that he will continue to serve in a leadership role. He built our manufacturing organization through the whirlwind of Monument’s early days – leading the charge toward our impressive HSE progress, the breadth of our current manufacturing performance capabilities, and the growth of our diverse customer base. I would like to express my deepest thanks to Rick for all he had done to make the Monument we know today possible.
Rick, Adam, and Sarves will report to me, and all of these changes are effective January 1, 2020.
Please join me in thanking Rick, Adam, and Sarves for their many contributions to Monument over the years – and in wishing them much success in their new / expanded leadership roles.
Thank you,
Qamar
