I am pleased to announce that effective immediately Jeff Gould has been promoted to Assistant Corporate Controller and will report directly to me.

Jeff joined Monument in March 2014 as Accounting Manager. In September 2019 he transitioned to a Financial Planning & Analyst role, and then to the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager role in April 2021.

Jeff has over 23 years of accounting, auditing, analysis, and finance planning experience. Prior to joining Monument, Jeff held several positions progressing in responsibility at companies such as; Raytheon, Data Systems & Solutions, Pilkington, Herff Jones, and Stanley Black & Decker. Jeff earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Indiana University Kelley School of Business and a Master of Business Administration degree from Indiana Wesleyan University.

In this newly created role, Jeff will be responsible for assisting me with managing all functions of the accounting group with focus on sales and inventory management, monthly journal entries, reconciliations, and reviewing financial statements. Jeff will assist in preparing for audits, budgets, and other tasks and projects as assigned. This position will be based in the corporate office in Indianapolis.

The FP&A role that Jeff is leaving will be backfilled and will be based in the Houston area.

With Jeff’s experience, skill, and knowledge of Monument he was a natural choice to further enhance Monument’s accounting and finance operations.
