Haltermann Solutions Organizational Announcement

November 8th, 2018

Haltermann Solutions Team,

This year, we have been making several strategic organizational changes across Haltermann Solutions that are improving our processes, better leveraging our capabilities, and, most importantly, helping drive sustainable growth and an exciting future for our company. Today, I am excited share the new Haltermann Solutions organization with you. (See here.)

I would like to highlight several key enhancements:

  • We will appoint a Technical Service and Development Manager – reporting to Mark Overaker, VP, Manufacturing and Supply Chain.
This position will be accountable for technical support and technical marketing with the goal of engaging customers and growing market share. This leader will work closely with the Fuels Development Team and Commercial Team, as well as contacts in the industry, to execute strategies and tactics to grow our business and create distinctive value in the marketplace. This position, for the first time, will tie together our technical and manufacturing capabilities to better support our commercial activities.
  • We will appoint a Business Operations Manager – reporting to Mark. This new position will be responsible for developing and delivering the operations business plan, including HSE, manufacturing, quality, logistics, and supply chain. This leader will work closely with our third-party suppliers and tollers to meet quality and HSE requirements and will play a critical role as a key team member in developing and implementing company strategies, and in driving profitable growth and shareholder value.
  • Taylor Day has been appointed Quality/Lab Manager – reporting to Mark. In this new position, Taylor will provide leadership that ties together the Development and Quality Assurance sides of our laboratory operations. From this perspective, Taylor will be able to ensure Development helps drive the manufacturing that supports our growth, while at the same time maintaining necessary QA oversight.
  • Customer Service now reports to Don Phillips, Commercial Director. With an eye toward continuous improvement and better meeting our customers’ needs, we are becoming much more proactive in our sales efforts. Aligning Customer Service and internal sales will ensure both functions can fully understand customer needs and are best positioned to continually improve our service to them.

Haltermann Solutions is a critical part of Monument Chemical’s vision for the future, and our new organization – and all we are doing to enhance customer service and boost continuous improvement in every function – will ensure that the Haltermann team continues to greatly contribute to our shared growth.

Your hard work has created a solid foundation on which we can build a dynamic future for Haltermann Solutions, and I appreciate everything you do to keep us moving forward.

Best regards,

Qamar
