Centralized U.S. Procurement Team: Positioned for Excellence
April 8th, 2025
As first shared in January, I am excited to officially announce the formation of a centralized U.S. Procurement Team, under my leadership. I will continue to report to Dan Malone as part of the GLT, ensuring strategic alignment with our organizational goals.
Today, I am happy to share more details on this newly established team, which brings together key individuals who have already driven remarkable achievements, such as significant cost savings, enhanced purchasing efficiencies, and innovative cross-site collaborations over the past several years. We look forward to building on this momentum with a clear vision for 2025 and beyond.
Procurement Team Structure
Jeff Haug’s team will be structured as follows:
- Alicia Penny: Purchasing Manager – MRO (Maintenance, Repair, & Operations)
- This team will continue to be responsible for managing all MRO expenses at each local site and will play a role in financial and operational excellence initiatives.
- Alicia’s MRO & Admin-focused group includes:
- Claudia Penley: Category Buyer – MRO (Houston Area)
- Kevin Hildago: Category Buyer – MRO (Port Arthur)
- Adrianne Gatrost (Dotted Line): Category Buyer – MRO & Warehouse Manager (Kentucky)
- Alex Novak: Raw Materials Buyer – Feedstocks (Houston Area)
- Alex will continue to be responsible for the material management of all incoming feedstocks for the Houston Area and play a role in financial and operational excellence initiatives.

- Drew will continue to be responsible for material management of all incoming feedstocks for Kentucky and play a role in financial and operational excellence initiatives.
What’s Next: This team is already engaged in several exciting projects, initiated under former leadership, that promise to deliver tangible impacts throughout 2025. Ongoing success will be enabled via:
- Clarity and Collaboration: The team will focus on clear communication and defined roles to ensure seamless execution.
- Alignment Across Sites: A proactive approach will unite efforts across locations, avoiding redundancies and maximizing results.
- Team Contributions: The Procurement Team will play a pivotal role in driving Business Excellence, leveraging their unique expertise.
This is more than a new structure – it is a commitment to efficiency, excellence, and innovation. We are confident this centralized approach will empower the team to achieve outstanding results for the organization.
Please join me in welcoming and supporting this incredible group of professionals as they embark on this important journey. Stay tuned for updates on their impactful initiatives and impact!
