July 5th, 2023
I am pleased to announce that Bryan Bailey joins the Monument Chemical IT team as the IT Security and Compliance Lead - Industrial Control Systems, effective today July 3, 2023.
In this newly created role, Bryan will be responsible for collaborating with all manufacturing plant engineers to administer the IT compliance and security of Monument’s industrial control systems. The primary goal of this position will be to focus on Monument’s industrial control systems and develop, implement, govern policies, procedures, and compliance related to the business continuity, IT asset usage, and cybersecurity.
Bryan has over 23 years of IT related experience at THG starting in 2000 through 2023. Bryan has held several positions progressing in responsibility as a Service Desk Analyst, Network Administrator, IT Manager, IT Security Engineer, and most recently as THG’s IT Security Manager.
From 2013 to 2017 Bryan was assigned to Monument Chemical and relocated to the Houston area to provide support for all the Houston area locations. Bryan has also provided support to the Brandenburg and Kallo sites as well.
Bryan holds and brings multiple IT certifications, skills, and experience to this role. Working with manufacturing plant control systems teams, Bryan will ensure effective firewall management, systems management, security forensics, systems vulnerability management, and integration of IT systems with OT (operational technology) systems segmentation and security frameworks.
Bryan will be based in Indianapolis and report to me. He will travel frequently to all of Monument’s manufacturing sites ensuring the company’s disaster recovery, business continuity, IT policy, IT governance, and IT Security protocols are at a constant state of readiness.
With Bryan’s experience, skill, and knowledge of Monument’s manufacturing control systems he was a natural choice to ensure Monument’s plants continue to remain operational and secure.
Please join me in welcoming Bryan back to the Monument team and in wishing him well in his new role.
Thank you,
Chad Nichols
