Even After Audit, Quality Doesn’t Take a Break

While the annual audit for ISO (International Organization for Standardization) certification is a known and scheduled event at Monument, its importance to our company and sites cannot be overstated. This globally recognized certification is the seal of approval we rely on to ensure our customers have added assurance to know they can, in turn, rely on us. And it’s a status we can’t afford to take for granted.
With that in mind, we want to recognize and thank Bonnie Heffernan, Quality Manager, and Lauren Hamilton, Quality Engineer, for overseeing the audit in Brandenburg, where we were recently recommended for continued certification of the site under the ISO 9002:2015 standard.

Bayport Throws a Wild Celebration for 3 Years OSHA Free

A beautiful Saturday afternoon at the Armand Bayou Nature Center set the perfect stage for worthy celebration in Pasadena, TX. Just over a mile from Monument’s Bayport site, dozens of employees and their families gathered — amongst the preserve’s gators, buffalo, and other wildlife creatures — for a celebration in honor of three years OSHA-free.

On February 28, 2022, seven teams of four bright, young scientists from Hardin and Meade Countys took to the stage at Stuart Pepper Middle School for the You Be The Chemist regional competition. In hopes of winning the title and securing a spot in Nationals down in Houston Texas, each team faced four rounds of ten challenging questions across a variety of scientific topics.
