At Monument, our Intern and Co-Op programs are more than just summer opportunities —they're a cornerstone of our commitment to nurturing the next generation of scientists and engineers. We eagerly anticipate each new group, excited to see fresh faces and new ideas that invigorate our teams and our work. For over a decade, we've welcomed some of the most talented and driven individuals in the field, providing them with hands-on experience in our plants and labs. These interns and co-ops not only sharpen their skills but also contribute significantly to our ongoing projects.

One year ago, Monument Chemical embarked on a major transformative shift into renewable fuels, leveraging decades of experience in specialty fuels from our Haltermann Solutions team. But as we took an exciting step forward into the new venture, we also took an intentional step back. Because we knew that the best way to elevate our service was to unify our approach — guided by our greatest strengths across every facility.

In an era where sustainability is driving major evolutions in the manufacturing industry, staying on top of market demands is not only important, it's also a necessity. Fortunately, the Port Arthur team is taking this commitment a step further, putting the site at the forefront of sustainable products with a certification that will address a need many U.S. businesses have yet to realize.
