Monument Chemical is proud to announce a major milestone: our Renewables and Fuels business has been awarded a multi-year contract by the U.S. Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), part of the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), to supply JP-10 and PF-1: two of the most advanced, high-energy propellants in the world.

This award reaffirms Monument’s growing role in supporting critical national defense missions with fuels that meet the most demanding performance and reliability standards.

What is JP-10?

JP-10 is a specialized synthetic hydrocarbon fuel designed for high-energy content and low-temperature performance. It is a fuel of choice for high-speed missile systems, supersonic test aircraft, and next-generation aerospace programs. (PF-1 is the igniter fluid used in conjunction with JP-10.)

Only a select group of producers worldwide are capable of meeting the stringent specifications required by defense applications – and Monument is now proudly among them.
