Michael Purvis to Join Monument as R&D Director, Brandenburg

Dear Monument Team,
I am pleased to announce that Michael Purvis will be joining the Monument Research & Development (R&D) team as R&D Director, Brandenburg, effective March 26, 2018. In this role, Michael will report to me, and will be responsible for growing our critical R&D pipeline of Performance Urethanes products manufactured at the Brandenburg facility. He will be working closely with all the sites and Global R&D Directors on our many exciting R&D projects.
Prior to joining Monument, Michael worked for Hexion Chemicals, a global leader in thermoset resins, as North American Core Business and Growth Technology Leader. He brings to the table significant experience in product, business and technology development, cost savings, new product launches, product support, laboratory restructuring, and business development.
Michael earned his undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Appalachian State University in North Carolina, as well as his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Virginia Tech University.
