Matt Taylor Accepts Position as QC Lab Senior Chemist , Kentucky
May 11th, 2020
Monument Team,
I am pleased to announce that effective Monday, May 11, 2020 Matt Taylor joined Monument Chemical in Brandenburg, KY as the QC Lab Senior Chemist and reporting directly to me.
In this role Matt will be responsible for installing, validating, maintaining, and troubleshooting QC instruments and completing projects to improve the consistency, accuracy, and precision of analytical results.
Matt comes to Monument Chemical with extensive experience within analytical laboratories. Most recently, he worked for the pharmaceutical company Astra Zeneca as a Senior Chemist responsible for the approval of raw materials. Matt’s overall experience includes detailed work with various instrumentation including ICP, GC, HPLC, and FTIR.
Matt holds a BS in chemistry from The University of Southern Indiana.
Due to the recent efforts to limit as much contact with others as we possibly can, we will be having Matt do as much of his initial onboarding and introduction to Monument Chemical offsite electronically. Matt looks forward to getting onsite and meeting the Brandenburg team as soon as possible.
Please join me in welcoming Matt to Monument and please extend your usual cooperation and support.
Thank you,
Rick Amos
QC Lab Manager
