September 29th, 2023

Our vision to be the trusted partner in the Renewables and Fuels space greatly depends on deploying our assets and capabilities to safely, efficiently, and ratably support our customers’ needs and growth plans.

To this effect, I am pleased to announce that Kurt Griffith has been promoted to Director, Operations - Monument Renewables & Fuels (MR&F), effective October 1 reporting directly to me. In this new role, Kurt is responsible for the MR&F Operations and Supply Chain functions, overseeing the alignment of operations across the Port Arthur, Baytown, and Haltermann Solutions sites, achieving operational and supply chain synergies, delivering MR&F’s business objectives and strategic goals. Kurt will continue to partner with the broader Monument ERM, Quality, Capital & Engineering teams to establish and maintain the highest standards for MR&F operations.

Reporting to Kurt are Ian Quinn - Site Leader for Port Arthur, Michael Schelling - Site Leader for Baytown, William Hairston - Operations Manager for Solutions, Angela Prazak - Supply Chain & Logistics Manager for Solutions, and Jerry Traylor–Capital Engineering Manager.

Please join me in thanking Kurt for his many contributions to Monument and the Solvents Business, as well as congratulating and wishing him success in this new role!

On a related note, with Kurt moving out of the Process Technology team, the team structure will be reviewed and staffed accordingly, the details of which will be the subject of a announcement to be published separately.
