We are excited to announce important organizational changes for the Brandenburg site, effective January 8, 2024.

Gary Coomer will be promoted to the position of Production Supervisor starting in February after finalizing training of board operators.
Michael Wurtman will assume the Operations Maintenance Coordinator (OMC) position and report to Alexandra. This new position will coordinate Polychem maintenance, projects and reliability activities being the interface between the plant and other site departments ensuring activities are being executed optimizing time, quality, and costs (reviewing priorities, making sure equipment is available for maintenance/project work, supporting maintenance planning and scheduling, participating in reliability projects and other activities). He will assume this role permanently in March after finalizing training of Gary Coomer as Production Supervisor.
Process Technology
A Process Engineering group is being created inside our Process and Technology group. This new department will support the site to reach a new level of performance, specifically working on continuous improvement projects and standardization across site units.
Allie Greenwood has been promoted to the position of Process Engineering Lead. In this role, Allie will continue to report to Eathan Peach and will be responsible for managing a skilled group of engineers that will work together with the units aiming for the highest degree of efficiency and improvement of site key performance indicators (KPIs) in each area aligned to our company objectives. Allie will also continue supporting the site from a Process Safety standpoint until we finalize recruiting a Process Safety Manager for the site.
Steven Blackburn, Jordan Lindsey, Rehani Shalash, and Russell Cavanagh will be moving into the Process Engineering group reporting to Allie and supporting all site units.
Maintenance
Jeremy Benham has been appointed to the position of Maintenance Planner. In this role, Jeremy will continue to report to Todd Faulkenburg and will be responsible for planning maintenance activities (work scopes, steps, sequence, execution times, parts needed, contractors, parts kitting). Adrianne Gatrost and Caitlyn Stith will report to Jeremy and establish this new Maintenance Planning area. Jeremy will also continue supporting in the supervisor role until we finalize recruiting a new Maintenance Supervisor.
Cheri Greenwell will continue to report to Todd Faulkenburg with a new title of Maintenance Scheduler that describes better her current responsibilities developing, communicating, and maintaining a maintenance schedule balancing work requirements and plant priorities considering production needs and maintenance resources.
This new organization with Planning and Scheduling along with support of a plant OMC aims to improve and standardize our maintenance process with the goal of reaching a world-class status in a short period of time increasing efficiency, equipment reliability and reducing site costs.
These changes will better position our team to support Brandenburg in the future and enhance our performance.
Please join me in congratulating all of those in new roles and supporting all of the changes.
Thank you,
Wendell Borges
