Monument Celebrates Brandenburg Retirees

With their history, experience and knowledge, our longtime employees have played an important role in Monument’s past and helped to lay the groundwork for our future. With a few retirements coming up in Brandenburg, we’ve picked two employees to highlight and celebrate here. Please join us in thanking them for their many contributions, and wishing them a happy, healthy retirement!

The Fehsenfeld Family is pleased to announce the Brothers Scholarship Program for the 2021-2022 academic year. The purpose of the program is to assist the children of Heritage employees with the cost of higher education and to encourage those students to invest in their future by obtaining a college degree.
Monument Purchases Site Next to Houston Plant
February 2nd, 2021

I am excited to announce that Monument has purchased a 24-acre manufacturing site located right next to our Houston plant. Previously owned by TechnipFMC (DUCO), a manufacturer of subsea umbilical cables to support offshore activities, the property contains warehouse space, pristine office space, marine access to the Houston Ship Channel, and of course, convenient integration with our Houston site.

A big part of our success last year was a commitment to open dialogue and sharing best practices, not only among our Monument team, but also with our peers, our customers, and the industry as a whole. In the spirit of that ongoing sharing – and as part of our efforts to celebrate these fantastic wins – we sat down as an EHS&S team to identify the biggest contributors to our success and improvements through 2020’s challenges.
Congratulations to the Brandenburg Team for a Successful SAP Rollout!

Anyone who has been through an ERP (enterprise resource planning) system rollout knows the process is extremely challenging – mostly because of how many dots need to be connected seamlessly. Now, imagine tackling those challenges through the earliest stages of a global pandemic (including team members AND consultants working virtually!) and it’s easy to understand why the Brandenburg team deserves a big congratulations for their recent successful SAP rollout in the early fall of 2020.
