2019-2020 Brothers Scholarship Program

Through the generosity of the Fehsenfeld family, The Brothers Scholarship program was created to assist the children of Heritage Group employees with the cost of higher education. Qualifying dependents of eligible employees may be awarded an annual award of $2,000 towards the costs of undergraduate studies at an accredited two or four-year college or university.

Eligibility
Applicants must be:
- Dependents of full-time Heritage Group company employees
- Age 24 or younger
- High school seniors, high school graduates or GED holders or
- Currently enrolled in a full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited two or four-year college or university
Selection Criteria
Awards are based on the following criteria:
- Financial need
- Academic record
- Demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities
- Honors
- Work experience
- Statement of goals and aspirations
- Unusual personal or family circumstances
Brothers Scholarship applications are reviewed and awarded by Scholarship America, a leading independent administrator of scholarship programs around the country.
Submitting an Application
Applications are accepted annually in late winter for the upcoming academic year. The scholarship is renewable for up to three years based on satisfactory academic performance and employee eligibility.
2019 Application Deadline
Applications for the 2019-2020 academic year must be submitted on-line by 3:00pm Central Standard Time on March 15, 2019. For more program details or to apply on-line, go to www.scholarsapply.org/brothers.
