Supply Chain/Customer Service Promotions and New Responsibilities
July 22nd, 2019
Monument Team,
We are pleased to announce a series of promotions within the Supply Chain and Customer Service organizations that will enhance our abilities to get the right products into the right hands – from the raw materials we source to the high-quality products we deliver to our customers.
The strength of the talented individuals in these organizations remains key to our success, and we are excited to see the team members below thrive in their new responsibilities.
- Kristi Capps has been promoted to Raw Materials Buyer - Houston Area, effective July 1. In this new role, Kristi will report to Phil Hume, Senior Manager, Procurement and Business Excellence, and will be responsible for managing the reliable and cost-effective flow of raw materials to support sales, inventory, and operation planning (SIOP) processes for the Houston, Baytown, and Bayport plants. For the past few years, Kristi has successfully coordinated inbound raw materials for the Houston plant business and customer service for key toll accounts.
- Alicia Penny has been promoted to the role of Category Buyer - Houston Area, effective July 1. In this role, Alicia will also report to Phil Hume and will be the site point-of-contact for executing procure-to-pay process category purchasing for Operational and Capital Project needs. Alicia joined Monument with the Bayport acquisition, where she has held several positions with increasing responsibility – with a strong focus on continuous improvements in plant-wide purchasing. Alicia will be succeeding Dave Rundle, who transitioned to Maintenance Specialist at Baytown last year.
Kristi, Alicia, and Dave will work closely over the coming months to ensure a successful and smooth transition. Please join me in congratulating Kristi and Alicia on their new roles, and extend your usual cooperation and support during this time of transition.
- Lineth (Gaby) Rangel has been promoted to Houston Production Scheduler, effective July 15. In this role, Gaby will provide detailed asset-level production scheduling to manage inventory profiles and assistance in developing mid-range S&OP scenarios. Gaby will work closely with key stakeholders, including Procurement, Plant Operations, Customer Service, and the Sales teams. Previously, Gaby was a Campaign Team Leader at the Houston plant and managed reaction distillations along with wastewater. Gaby will report to John Lewis, S&OP Manager – Houston Area.
- Dottie Linkugel has been promoted to Bayport Production Scheduler, effective July 15. In this role, Dottie will provide detailed asset-level production scheduling to manage inventory profiles for the Bayport products and tolls. In addition, Dottie will continue to manage internal plant movements, as well as coordinate with key tolling accounts to ensure customer needs are met. Dottie will work closely with key stakeholders, including Procurement, Plant Operations, Customer Service, and the Sales teams. Dottie joined Monument with the Bayport acquisition and has been pivotal in meeting customer needs during the transition. Dottie will also report to John Lewis.
- Carrie Wiley will continue her Customer Service responsibilities for Bayport and will now become involved with other sites and terminals. She will be relocating to the Rollingbrook location – joining Monument’s North American Customer Service team – and will be reporting to Jason McDuff, North America Customer Service Manager. Carrie has been at the Bayport location for almost five years, successfully coordinating logistics and customer service needs.
- Clark Holland has been promoted to Customer Service Lead. Clark has been in Customer Service for almost seven years. In this expanded role, Clark will continue to report to Jason McDuff and will help manage the cash-to-order fulfillment processes for sales and tolling activities.
Please join me in congratulating Gaby, Dottie, Carrie, and Clark on their new responsibilities.
We look forward to sharing more exciting news about our Supply Chain and Customer Service enhancements and successes in the months to come.
Sincerely,
Phil Hume, Senior Manager, Procurement & Business Excellence
