Sibel Selcuk Promoted to Vice President, R&D

Monument Team,

I am pleased to announce that Sibel Selcuk, currently Director, Research & Development (R&D), has been promoted to Vice President, R&D, effective immediately. Sibel joined Monument in early 2018, and since then, she has helped build our enhanced global R&D organization team, as well as supported the design of our new stage-gate process. This year, she will lead the team’s efforts in executing and growing the projects in our growth pipeline to deliver innovation and organic growth in all of our businesses.

Prior to joining Monument, Sibel served as President, Heritage Turkish Holdings, for The Heritage Group (THG), where she was responsible for the company’s strategic growth and development in Turkey, including identifying and developing markets and areas of interest, M&A activities, customer engagement, and JV partner relations. Before that, Sibel held several positions at THG, including Chief Scientist and Research Analytical Chemist. 

Sibel earned her undergraduate degree in Analytical Chemistry from the Middle East Technical University (METU) in Turkey, as well as her Ph.D. in Chemistry from Louisiana State University.
