Michael Schelling Accepts New Position as Senior Production Engineer in Houston, TX

Monument Team,

I am pleased to announce that Michael Schelling has recently accepted a position as Senior Production Engineer within Monument Chemical in Houston, TX.

Michael joined Monument Chemical Kentucky in June 2015 as a Production Engineer in EDC. In December 2016, he was promoted to Operations Team Leader in PolyChem. Just a few of Michael’s contributions during his tenure in Kentucky were: developing site nitrogen mass balance, tank transfer checklist procedure revamp and implementation, the development and implementation of the Brandenburg Site Job Hazard Analysis procedure (JHA), improving PolyChem operational discipline, and revising PolyChem operation technician training program.     

Michael will be relocating to the Houston, TX area in the very near future. He will be learning the Houston site’s operations and working on various projects. The Brandenburg site will miss Michael greatly, and we all look forward to his continued professional growth in Houston. (And who knows...maybe one day Michael will come back to us in Kentucky!)
