A Message from Paul: Monument’s New Leadership Organization

November 3rd, 2020

I’m excited to share with you a look at Monument’s new leadership organization. As I’ve mentioned in previous communications, we are finalizing Monument’s Strategic Plan and Key Projects – for 2021 and beyond – and to best deliver on that strategy, we are building and empowering a leadership organization that is fully aligned with our vision for growth.

We will be sharing an overview of the Strategic Plan with you shortly, but in the meantime, I’d like you to be aware of the changes to our leadership organization – all of which are effective as of today, November 2, 2020. Here are some highlights:

  • New / Changed Global Leadership Team (GLT) roles:
    • Don Phillips will be assuming responsibilities for Global Custom Manufacturing in addition to his role as GM for Haltermann Solutions.
    • Sibel Selcuk will be assuming responsibilities for Marketing and our Strategic Plan in addition to her current oversight of R&D.
    • Jeff Weeks will continue to focus on business development, especially for the Houston area, reporting to Sarves Peri.
    • Phil Hume will continue in his current role. He and Jeff Haug will report to Dan Malone.
    • Chad Nichols will continue in his current Information Systems role, reporting to Bill Grube.

For our Business Management Teams (BMT), the role of Sponsor is being clarified and reinforced to serve as the Leader of the Team. The BMT Leaders will assume more oversight and accountability for the execution of the Strategy for each business team. These changes will be effective January 1, 2021.

  • The new BMT Leaders will be:
    • Sarves Peri, Houston Business Team Leader
    • Don Phillips, Brandenburg Business Team Leader
    • Paul Raymond (interim) Kallo Business Team Leader

As you’ll see in the organization charts, the leadership changes have also shifted the reporting structure of team members in functions and business teams. In addition to supporting full alignment with our Strategic Plan, these changes also offer exciting Talent Development opportunities – both for our leaders, as well as for the many team members who will have fresh possibilities for collaboration and new growth challenges.

Please join me in congratulating our team members on their new roles and responsibilities. I very much look forward to sharing Monument’s Strategic Plan with you in the coming weeks – and building excitement and alignment around how we grow, how we measure success, and how your efforts move us forward. Stay tuned, and stay safe.

Paul
