R&D Organizational Announcement
August 12th, 2019
Monument Team,
As you know, we have made incredible progress over the past 18 months in growing the capabilities of our functionally-centralized R&D organization. Our collaborative efforts have allowed us to build momentum in keeping our growth pipeline filled with innovations for the short- and long-term future.
We are pleased to announce new enhancements to the R&D team that will drive further progress in all areas of growth, collaboration, and distribution of resources:
- The Bayport R&D team has been fully integrated into the Houston Area and Global R&D team. Similar to the other North American sites, QA/QC will report to Manufacturing, and the R&D team will focus on new products and custom manufacturing product development. R&D will continue to support the sites as needed. Savannah Simonds, QA/QC Manager, will report to Blake Saffer, Global Quality Leader, and Albert Green, Laboratory Technician, will continue to report Savannah.
- In the Houston area, we will now have a focused effort on product development. This ensures that product and custom manufacturing R&D efforts do not compete for resources. Ivonne Andjuar-De Sanctis, R&D Chemist, has accepted a new role where she will be focusing on new product development for the Houston area product line. She will continue to report to Rainer Potthast, Houston and Baytown R&D Director.
Please join us in congratulating Ivonne on her new role – and in thanking all members of the R&D team for their daily efforts to fuel Monument’s growth.
Sincerely,
Sibel Selcuk
Vice President, Global R&D
